From Postpartum Struggles to Strength: Meghan’s FIT4MOM Story

Motherhood is often described as a marathon—not a sprint—and no one knows that better than Meghan Betts, a FIT4MOM PRO Team member and instructor with FIT4MOM Alexandria. Meghan is mom to 12-year-old Ewan and has been part of our village since her earliest days of motherhood.

From Skeptic to Believer

As a lifelong competitive athlete, Meghan admits she was skeptical when she first heard about Stroller Strides. Would it really be a workout? But after just one class, she knew she had found so much more than exercise.

“Partway through my first class, I knew I had found a place where I felt like me. I had found a group of women I didn’t know I needed, and I had found an incredibly effective and efficient workout,” Meghan shares.

Her early motherhood journey was anything but easy. She faced postpartum mood disorder and supported her son through silent reflux and food sensitivities. What made the difference? Finding a village.

“FIT4MOM added color into my world beyond what I realized I was missing. My village embraced me as I was, supported me through challenges, and helped me define me in my new stage of life.”
