From Nervous New Mom to Community Leader: Chrissy Brothers’ FIT4MOM Journey

At FIT4MOM, we believe every mom deserves a village, and Chrissy Brothers has dedicated her life to building one. As mom to Ryder and Mila, wife to Randy, former educator, and passionate leader in her community, Chrissy embodies what it means to empower women through movement, connection, and belonging.

From Classroom to Community Builder

Before joining FIT4MOM, Chrissy spent eight years as an elementary school teacher and instructional coach. After welcoming her son Ryder, she returned to teaching full-time as planned. But when her daughter Mila arrived a couple of years later, Chrissy found herself at a crossroads, one that so many moms face. The cost of childcare meant she’d be working primarily to cover those expenses, and for the first time, she considered staying home.

Knowing she would need both movement and community in this new season, Chrissy remembered hearing about Stroller Strides from a friend years before. At just seven weeks postpartum, she walked into her first class unsure of what to expect and nervous she might not fit in.

Instead, she found exactly what she needed: a circle of moms navigating the same highs and lows of motherhood. She found friendship, support, and a renewed passion for fitness and teaching. And from that very first class, she knew she wanted to create that same welcoming experience for others.

Creating a Space Where Every Mom Belongs

As an instructor and franchisee, Chrissy’s mission is simple but powerful: every mom should feel welcome, seen, and capable no matter how she shows up.

She still remembers the impact her first instructor had on her experience, and she now strives to give every mom that same feeling of immediate belonging. Through her leadership at FIT4MOM South Metro Denver, Chrissy has helped countless women find not just a workout, but lifelong friendships and a true support system.

Inclusion is a value she champions daily. Whether a mom is newly postpartum, pregnant, returning to fitness, or simply showing up after a hard week, Chrissy ensures every class is accessible, supportive, and empowering.

A Passion for Teaching, Fitness & Mentorship

Fitness has always been a part of Chrissy’s life, but her love for teaching is what makes her classes truly special. Now in her 40s, she’s embraced the importance of strength training and functional movement to support her body through every stage of life, and she loves helping other moms do the same.

Beyond leading classes, Chrissy is also passionate about mentoring and training new instructors. She takes pride in equipping them with the tools and confidence to lead impactful, memorable workouts and is always just a call or email away for support.

A lower body and core-focused movement that builds strength and stability.

Make it your own: Use one dumbbell or swap in a core ball. Squeezing the ball engages the core without the added load.

Bicep Curl External Rotation with Step-Up Knee

A functional, full-body move that challenges balance and upper body strength.

Make it your own: Use a lower step (bench, curb, or stair) or remove the step entirely during pregnancy. Lighter weights can also be used.

Chest Press Hip Bridge with Abduction

Targets the chest, glutes, and outer thighs in one powerful movement.

Make it your own: Perform standing instead of on the ground for later trimesters, and adjust weight as needed.

A balance and strength challenge that activates the core, glutes, and back.

Make it your own: Use a wall or chair for stability. Perform the row with one arm while the other supports balance. Lighter weights are encouraged.

A total-body strength builder combining lower and upper body power.

Make it your own: Use lighter weights and widen your squat stance as your belly grows to maintain comfort and stability.

A dynamic combo move that strengthens the arms, shoulders, and legs.

Make it your own: Perform one arm at a time, use lighter weights, or return to standing between movements for extra support.
