The FIT4MOM® Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) provides a setting in which franchisees can voice their concerns about issues that may affect the entire franchise system. Final decision-making authority remains with FIT4MOM Corporate, but franchisees can provide advice and input that influences decisions through this FAC. For the FAC to be effective, all participants should maintain open-mindedness, listen keenly, and respect differing viewpoints. Meeting agendas should focus on the interests of the entire system and there must be an emphasis on problem-solving, creating and executing action plans and achieving measurable outcomes. The FAC should establish protocols, adhere to its bylaws, and have meeting agendas in place to maintain order and efficiency.

The FAC is intended to foster an effective dialogue between the franchisees and FIT4MOM Corporate. The FAC exists to improve the FIT4MOM franchise group as a whole. The FAC should not be used as a platform for franchisees to pursue individual and unique agendas unless there is some positive and constructive outcome of value to the entire group.
