The Fit Foodie’s Wild Salmon Burgers

Recipe Servings: 3

1 lb wild caught salmon

1/4 cup basil, fresh

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 large red onion

1 large egg white

1 Tbsp hot pepper sauce

1 sprouted burger bun

1 Cup raw arugula

1 medium tomato

Recipe Instructions:

1. Chop salmon, basil, and red onion. Combine them in a mixing bowl, adding black pepper and low sodium salt for flavor

2. Combine hot sauce and egg white. Add them to salmon mixture.

3. Make three patties.

4. Cook patties on a pre-heated skillet sprayed with cooking spray over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side or until patties are cooked through.

5. Add pattiy to one side of bun. Top it with arugula and tomato. Close with top bun and enjoy warm.
