In today’s episode, we are talking Leadership In Motherhood

We are about to hit our 1 year anniversary of the show. And I would like to do some give aways. So please do share this episode and use the #MotivatingMom. I will give away a month of free Stroller Strides or Body Back classes to the first 10 who share the show. When you subscribe and share, it is the best way for us to reach more moms and hopefully give them the strength they need.

For the past two decades, I have immersed myself into the study of leadership and the study of motherhood. Only just recently have I realized how intertwined the two are.

In today’s podcast. I wanted to share with you the wisdom of some of my favorite leaders. And to show you how powerful, how insightful it can be in motherhood.

First, what is leadership?

Leadership is defined as the action of leading a group or an organization. In the broadest sense of the word, a "leader" is someone who brings people together and guides them toward a common goal. Anyone can tell others what to do, but effective leadership requires much more than the ability to assign tasks to a group. There is much debate about what leadership should look like. but most everyone agrees that a true leader inspires his or her followers. Call me crazy but I’m pretty sure this is how we want to parent.

In this episode we are going to learn about some of the lessons from these top experts in leadership.

. I’ll leave you with a famous and ancient quote about leadership…I took some liberties and change him to her.

"A leader is best when people barely know she exists. When her work is done, her aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves." -- Lao Tzu
