Today is part 1 of a 2 part episode. we are going to talk about the power of your thoughts and the power of your words.
We say we want to workout, but they we push sleep on our alarm clock. We say we want to eat healthy but then we eat fried chicken. We say we want to accomplish a goal but then we sabotage ourselves. I was always looking for the secret. And, I pretty much found it. In the last five years, we have learned so much about the brain. And the good news is that you can train it; just like you can train a muscle.
This beautiful quote from Gandhi sums it up...
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
So, if we want to change our destiny, we will need to change our thoughts.
1) Gently redirect the negative thoughts that come in to your head.
2) Replace those negative thoughts with a new more positive path.
3) Go out of your way to look for new empowering thoughts to replace the usual 98% cycle!
