Position: Vice President of Business Development and Sales
Location: FIT4MOM Home Offices in San Marcos, CA
As a VP of Biz Dev, you will manage the company’s Franchise Sales Team and directly oversee key strategic partnerships in conjunction with the CEO and executive team. You will work closely with our Director of Content, VP of Franchise Operations, the CEO and our Founder while managing a team of 4-6 direct reports.
You will work to create value-driven relationships with franchisees, instructors, and other consumer brands. You will be responsible for the results of the franchise sales team and the revenue generated from our Marketing and Strategic Partnerships.
This role will involve contribution to the Company’s overall strategy and be an active participant with the executive team in a startup environment.
New franchise sales and growth to base through sales activities and management of Franchise Sales Team pursuant to Company Strategy
Establish strategic partnerships with aligned brands and influencers that are focused on driving value to our end-consumer.
Prospect and identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
Establish new relationships through active research, pro-active calling and business relationships.
Develop sales plans and accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
Management of budget and income statement for Franchise Sales and Partnerships.
Create, hire, develop, and manage thriving sales and business development teams.
Assist in the development and refinement sales strategies and promotions in all areas of the company: in our direct to consumer business (San Diego and Online), on behalf of our franchisees, instructors and other stakeholders.
Improve sales and marketing collateral for franchise sales and partnerships.
Contribute as an integral member of the senior executive team through effective collaboration, innovation, presentations, and reporting. Reports to the CEO, with deep relationships required with leaders in all departments of the company.
BA/BS and at least 7 years experience, preferably with a consumer brand.
Strong relationship skills, both externally and internally.
Prior management experience required.
Ability to analyze results and be decisive.
Proficiency in CRM and related software to accomplish goals.
Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
