This month we are talking about the Power Of Moms at FIT4MOM. Let's show our power as we raise money together by simply walking, biking or running!
FIT4MOM is partnering with Charity Miles, a free app that empowers you to earn money for charities when you workout. Our goal is to donate 100,000 miles by September 30th. You can use the app when you take any of your classes, but also when you go out for a run/walk/bike on your own. The impact we can make as a collective force is unmatched!
You can download the app for FREE, choose the charity that you would like to donate to, and Charity Miles' sponsors will donate money to your chosen charity! When you head out, turn on your mile tracker through Charity Miles and start moving! It is THAT easy! Bikers earn 10¢ a mile and walkers and runners earn 25¢ a mile. Please join the National FIT4MOM Team (@FIT_4_MOM)! Ask your local franchisee for the local team name as well. You can be on multiple teams! Use #EveryStrideMatters on your social media.
Here's how to get started:
- Download the Charity Miles App from your device's app store
- Create an account or login with Facebook
- Tap on the three lines in the upper left corner
- Choose Teams
- Tap + in the upper right corner
- Enter @fit_4_mom (our national Fit4Mom team)
- Tap Charities
- Choose a Charity and start your workout!
We will be giving away many prizes for the top mile earners as well as the top local teams. Prizes will include: FIT4MOM branded gear, BOB fitness stroller, LUNA bars, 1 month of Free Classes, and more!
